New UK R&B/pop music artist Sharon Rose, who's a Christian, is offering Christian music lovers four tracks to celebrate the launch of her new website www.sharonrosemusic.com
The singer/songwriter from Southend, Essex is hoping the new EP, 'Wildcard', will give music lovers a taste of her sound.
The EP will feature two previously unreleased songs, ‘Superman' and ‘Better'; and live versions of two tracks (‘My Fire' and ‘Testify'). The two live tracks had previously appeared on her debut 2007 album Self Titled which she released independently.
The 20-year-old pastor's daughter is hoping her music will reach music lovers everywhere; her songs explore faith, love, empowerment, social justice and topical issues and she is often compared to the likes of Beyonce and Jill Scott.
"I don't just want to make feel-good music that has no substance," she explains. "I want people to be inspired, encouraged and empowered by my songs."
She recently won the MSN Unsigned podcast competition and is getting ready to release her single L.O.V.E, a super fun and universally appealing pop offering, on July 6.
The free download EP will be available from June 8 at www.sharonrosemusic.com
