Who: Latin American superstar Jaci Velasquez has been a prominent figure in the Latin pop market for over ten years. Born of Mexican, Spanish and French ancestry, Jaci Velasquez is a GRAMMY award and Latin GRAMMY award nominee who releases her 13th studio album after releasing her first record back in 1996.

 

At a glance: Love Out Loud highlights the qualities of Velasquez’ vocals as they carry the weight of the album through ten tracks of moving and inspiring songs. Although the album is predominantly sung in English (with the track Por Escrito performed in Spanish with husband Nick Gonzales) the album still manages to capture the magical flavour of Latin sounds on songs such as My Alleluia and Tango.

 

Try it if you like: Latin American pop music, but many who are fans of the genre will already be familiar with the talents of Jaci Velasquez. Love Out Loud  is an impressive album, which is fitting for an artist who has managed to find great success in both the US and Latin market over the last decade.

I love Jaci Velasquez. My best song from her is On My Knees. I am sure the new album will be tight.

Jaci is a good role model for girls. She shows us that it doesn't matter where you've started from, it's the end that matters. She says being a Christian, you don;t have to be perfect. You will make mistakes (her divorce) but God still loves you and you need to love yourself. that's what I think anyways.
